The Italian company CARON can be proud of a 40 years-long experience in the field of Transporters production. After entering the market in the 60s, nowadays CARON have a total production seat of 13 thousands square metres in the province of Vicenza, in one of the most productive Italian regions. Thanks to the investments in the technological field and to the production control of all components (from the chassis to the cabs), CARON is a reference point of the sector, for the functionality and reliability of its products. Transporters are mainly appreciated on mountain areas and, in comparison with traditional tractors, the advantages go to compactness and handiness to the best wheel drive and stability even on the steepest slopes thanks to the excellent weights distribution on the axle. In addition to that, the high load capacities and compact dimensions permit the transporter to go through where a tractor have to stop. So users can safely face up to steep slopes, winding tracks or bumpy grounds. In order to meet the market demands from the industrial, agricultural and municipal sectors, CARON has been able to adapt its products to the several requirements by manufacturing multi-purposes vehicles which can be used also in the fields of road maintenance, building site, forestry and fire-fighting services. The wide range of Caron Transporters is composed of models with powers from 25 up to 100 HP and loading capacities from 1500 up to 6000 kg. The broad range of gears, with a speed going from 0,8 to 40 km/h, makes the transporter the perfect machine for all-terrain jobs in any condition and thanks to the central joint in the chassis, the four wheels are constantly adherent to the ground. All the transporters are complete with a demountable 3-way tipping body; according to the different models also hydraulic distributors, central and rear power take-offs are available. The four universal points chassis permits to mount several tools and equipments with weight up to 6 tons, providing the machine with great versatility and high working performance all year long. Thanks to all these features, the machines can be fitted with a lot of industrial and agricultural equipments, such as brushing machines, rear excavators, snow blades, salt spreaders, manure spreaders and forage self-loaders. As a matter of fact, in the latest years the sales of CARON transporters have been increasing also abroad, both in European and extra-European countries. Now CARON aims to boost the exports especially thanks to the new “900” Series that can be customized according to the users’ needs in the agricultural, forestry, municipal works, and other sectors. Products The AR (articulated) and ST (steering wheels) Series, have European Approval as agricultural tractor with total capacities of 2600 kg, 3500 kg, 4500 kg and towing masses up to 5000 kg. Compact sizes (widths from 124 to 160 cm), dual hydraulic integral braking, four wheel drive with disengagement of the front drive and rear differential lock permits the operator to safely work also in the most critical conditions. According to the models, machines are supplied with synchronized 9 speeds gear- box (30 km/h), 18 or 24 speeds gear-boxes (40 km/h); with 2,3,4 cylinders engines (from 25 to 62 HP) and can be equipped with rear 3-point linkage. The 800-Series stands out because of the high level of comfort provided by the soundproofed 2-seats cab mounted on hydraulic shock absorbers and silentblocs. Thanks to the compact sizes (width 165 cm), to the options of central power takeoff (with independent hydraulic clutch) and rear PTO, hydraulic distributors with couplings in front of and behind the cab, rear 3-point linkage, this transporter is widely used in farming and also in building or municipal works fields. The 900-Series (with European Approval as agricultural tractor) has high performances and total approved carrying capacity of 8,040 kg, towing capacity of 1900 kg (unbraked) and of 6,000 kg (braked). The high engines power (89 and 95 HP) is combined with integral braking with “miniservo” system, 4 wheel drive with electro-hydraulic disengagement and synchronized 36 gears box (reducer and Hi-Low). The fully soundproofed cab mounted on a refined suspension system that provides unbeatable comfort in any riding condition and cancels out rolling on slopes. Excellent versatility is given by the 2-speeds independent power take-off (central and rear) and different wheelbases. The machine is also provided with electro-hydraulic locks of the front and rear differential and can be equipped with rear 3-point linkage.
