SURFLEX S.RL. is an Italian company established in 1950 by Giuseppe Rimoldi.It was the first Italian company to produce clutches for motorcycle use, and it is now the only one dealing mainly in small clutches to fit motorcycles and light agricultural machines. The whole range of components and assemblies can be machined in the facilities with home-built equipment and tools. As soon as the company was founded, a permanent research department was opened, which over the years has developed organic and sintered material for linings. The first sinter bonded plate was successfully tested on the race-track in the 1960s by Giacomo Agostini in his MV Agusta! Since then, considerable new investment has been made to add the production of mechanical clutch parts by a sintered metal process, while the range of products we offer has been vastly increased. The company policy of zero defect production for full customer satisfaction was recognized in 1995, when we were granted ISO EN 9001 Certification.
