What To Wear:
Casual attire is the suggested dress. Tailored slacks for men and a skirt and blouse for ladies are appropriate dress for participants and their guests. When visiting local attractions, casual wear is best, and dressing in layers is a good idea. Generally, light-to-medium weight clothing is appropriate and don’t forget to bring along a sweater or light jacket for the cool late summer evenings especially if you want to enjoy a sunset sail or a walk on the beach or Cliff Walk. Always bring a rain jacket just in case of inclement weather.

Be sure to bring a camera as Newport offers amazing scenery and architecture.
Visa, Mastercard and American Express are accepted almost everywhere and ATM’s are easy to locate in Newport.
Bring comfortable shoes as Newport is an easy city to navigate on foot.
Public Transportation is available and departs from the Visitors Center next door to the Newport Marriott Hotel. Bus schedules are available at the Visitors Center.

The Department of Transportation and airline regulations
require all checked luggage to be clearly identified
on the outside. This will also insure proper delivery
of baggage at the hotel.

TF Green airport is 26 miles and approximately 30 minutes from Newport, Rhode Island.
Inexpensive transportation to/from Newport is the CozyCab Airport Shuttle for $20 per person. An individual taxi ride will cost approximately $70. Sharing a taxi to/from Newport is recommended.
